As reported, Bank Kalteng won five awards at the 26th Infobank Awards event, such as The Best Bank in Credit Assets Quality, The Incredible Performance Bank, “Excellent” predicate for Bank Kalteng’s brilliant performance throughout 2020, Titanium Trophy – “Excellent Performance” 15 Consecutive Years, as well as The Best CEO Series 2021 for the performance of Bank Kalteng’s President Director, Yayah Diasmono Rachmadi. This can be seen in his ability to increase the net profit despite the fact that the company is still in the midst of the pandemic.
BJB, Bank Jateng, BCA, Citibank Indonesia, Bank Mestika, and Bank Kalteng were among the seven eligible bankers honored in the Best CEO Series category. Yayah Diasmono Rachmadi was also selected CEO of BPD Of the Year from the Bisnis Indonesia Award in 2020, which retained in 2021, Outstanding CEO Regional Bank Bisnis Indonesia, and Best Leader for Business Resilience Through Good Corporate Governance in the category of “The Best CEO Series 2021”. The award was presented symbolically at the 26th Infobank Awards, which aim to recognize banks’ achievements in sustaining their existence and delivering exceptional results even in difficult circumstances.
The 2021 Infobank Awards are given out based on the Infobank Research Bureau’s 2021 Bank Rating 109. Bank Kalteng is ranked 28th out of 109 banks in Indonesia, including the international banks. The rating is processed based on performance in 2020, applying the seven criteria in assessing banking institutions.
The seven criteria include the risk management profile rating, GCG composite value rating, capital, asset quality, profitability, liquidity, and efficiency. The assessment criteria used by BIRI are more critical than those used by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), where the regulatory version of the bank’s health assessment refers to the risk profile, GCG, profitability, and capital.
