The vaccination was accepted after receiving the first dose of Covid-19 vaccination on March 10, 2021.
Chairman of the Central Kalimantan Indonesian Journalists Association HM Harris Sadikin through his Secretary Ika Lelunu, after receiving the second dose of Covid-19 vaccination, at Port Health Office of Palangka Raya, Wednesday (24/3/2021), he said that during the Covid-19 vaccination process, the Indonesian Journalists Association gets quota for 61 peoples, and the Indonesian Television Journalists Association of Central Kalimantan for 10 peoples.
“However, all of friends need to remember, after being vaccinated, we must remain disciplined in applying health protocols. “Because based on information, antibodies to the corona virus have only been formed for 28 days, after we get the second dose of vaccine,” he appealed.
In addition, on behalf of the chairman of the Central Kalimantan Indonesian Journalists Association and the Indonesian Journalists Association, Ika Lelunu expressed his gratitude to the Government of Central Kalimantan Province, the Government of Palangka Raya City, and all of Regency Governments in Central Kalimantan. Because simultaneously, members of the Central Kalimantan Iindonesia Journalists Association who are in the Regency also get Covid-19 vaccinations.
Ika Lelunu, added, giving vaccines is a form of appreciation and appreciation of the government for the performance of journalists. Moreover, journalists are one of the professions that are vulnerable to being exposed to Covid-19, because in carrying out their activities they meet many people.
